About ornament
At a certain point, modern art challenged the spectators with bi-color geometrical abstractions, creating the impression of moving and vibrating patterns. Yet the welling checks, decorating the lampshade, first appeared a towel, woven half a century earlier than optical art was even established. The roots of avant-garde keep astonishing.

The wooden lampshade is designed and hand-made in Lithuania using reconstituted wood veneer.
Reconstituted wood veneer is a special type of veneer that is created using real wood from renewable sources to save rare or exotic wood species.

Inside the lampshade, there is a special matt light diffusor. It does not drop the bright shadows on the wall.
