Pendant light GARDEN OF THE LILIES
The openwork ornament reproduces the weaving patterns of the Klaipėda region in Lithuania.
After all these years, I still don't get used to it. To the surprise, every time you see a garden of lilies.
Not embroidered, but woven, with red thread on a white background, an ancient custom.
According to a preserved drawing from 1817, later reproduced by the seaside weavers, and now transferred to wood by us.
I spread out a red and white cloth, like milk and blood in one - a promise of life flowing with tears, one for all. I make the pleats, put on the apron and everything changes.
The lamp in the photos is walnut brown color.
