Ceiling lamp MIRGA
The wooden LED lamp, decorated with a geometric pattern, attracts the eye with its optically lively rhombus motifs.
At first glance, it seems modern, but it is inspired by the Latvian textile tradition. The decorative fragment of the special bands of the Lielvardė region became the basis of the decor.
The red and white bands woven in the vicinity of Lielvarde are distinguished by the unpredictable sequence of archaic signs, as well as the unique fineness of the fabric. When a fragment of the tape is transferred to the lamp cover, it seems that the pattern moves, rushes away, flickers. Hence the name of the lamp "Mirga".
This lamp is a delicate example of the synthesis of old cultural heritage and modern interior.
The lamp in the photos is natural oak.
