FLOWER OF LIFE notebook

The ornament with which the notebook is decorated is one of the most famous, carved in wood. It is found on Lithuanian kanklės, under the strings, seen on the ceremonial bucket of ancestral mead and on the ancient door in a remote village in India. We call it a rolling sun, a star, a sunflower. As the letters are arranged, light shines between them every time, a primordial flowering erupts. And when multiplied and connected, the universal symbolism of the flower of life unfolds. And here is the poem:

from a white cloud in the branches of an apple tree
it will rain honey

and the bee's touch
the flower will turn into an apple

to the seed speaking in its secret:
when you cross the earth and winter

you will be a tree

from ring to ring
traveling
without end
