ABUNDANCE (Ø 40 CM)

Pendant lamp
A wooden lampshade with archaic Baltic ornaments has its own story and derives from the Midsummer rituals. About ornament The traditional lifestyle kept the rhythm of the Sun all year round, celebrating the Solstice points. The midsummer feast honored the abundance of life itself when the herbs and waters shed the peak of their healing powers. The ancient Baltic signs, pictured on a lampshade represent the source of the abundance in nature. According to ancient tradition, the longest day of the year in Lithuania is called Rasos, meaning the due. In the Christian tradition this celebration is dedicated to St. John, hence is the title Jonines and all the bearers of this name receive a majestic wreath of herbs on their head.  The names might change, however, the beautiful shift of nature, the Summer Solstice, unfolds and happens, in heaven and on earth, without leaving us aside. One of the most beautiful words of this celebration is the KUPOLES, which means the time of fullness, the greatest flourishing, and the most abundant greenery. And the accumulation of all existing life. Grasslands and waters are filled with the most powerful vital powers reaching out to us on the shortest night of the year. That is why we call the bouquet of mid-summer grasslands in the name of the KUPOLE - it contains all the strongest strengths of plants, water, and sunlight. We named the wooden chandelier decorated with archaic ornaments KUPOLES. May the light of the KUPOLES radiate prosperity, abundance, and fullness, and may it be lit at Your home on the longest day of the year. Color variations The picture shows a lampshade in natural oak. Six colors of the veneer are available to choose from on our website. For more variations contact us personally. Production terms Made to order, unless we have it ready to ship. Production terms: 4 weeks. Adaptability A lampshade of this design is suitable for hanging as well as floor lamps and table lamps. Features The wooden lampshade is designed and hand-made in Lithuania using reconstituted wood veneer. Reconstituted wood veneer is a special type of veneer that is created using real wood from renewable sources to save rare or exotic wood species. Inside the lampshade, there is a special matt light diffusor. It does not drop the bright shadows on the wall.
